We have really good news to report. We have agreed to initial terms with owner of a building located at 8450 Enterprise Way, Oakland CA. The building is 15,000 sq ft -150’ long and 100’ wide with 16’ ceiling. This means our warm room will be on the side. The building is very clean, built in the 1980s with a large parking lot and a HUGE sign! So now the hard work begins. We need to engage with the city of Oakland to obtain a conditional use permit, aggressively continue our fundraising efforts, and of course negotiate the lease. If all goes well, we should be looking at opening a curling facility next Spring. Can you believe it!?! More to come, but we just wanted to bring everyone up to date.
