Here’s a summary of the DI Committee’s work in the last few weeks:
Member Forums
We completed 2 member forums and we greatly appreciate everyone’s time and feedback. Members asked a lot of good questions, and hopefully the Dedicated committees was able to answer most of them. We are in the process of incorporating member feedback into the business plan and supporting documents. Next steps are to update these documents and get them into your hands by next Monday prior to the member vote.
Member Meeting and Voting
Don’t forget, we are holding a member meeting at BJ’s in Newark on Saturday Mar 15, starting at 5:30pm and concluding with closing of the member vote on the proposed dedicated ice plan at 7:00pm.
Site Visit
If anyone is interested, some members of the DI Steering Committee are willing to offer a brief tour of the Diablo Ave property preceding Saturday’s member meeting. If interested, please email ice@bayareacurling.com indicating what time you would like to meet, starting at 4:00pm. Note we will need to leave the property no later than 5:10pm. To comply with the owner’s rules around tours, we will conduct the tours in small groups.
