WCF Loan Application
Last week we submitted a loan application to the WCF (World Curling Federation) for a $200,000 loan. In addition, we have been keeping Darrell Ell, who is with the WCF, abreast of our efforts, including sending him a draft of our business plan. Darrell took our draft business plan with him to Sochi for the WCF meetings they were having. Apparently the WCF and other attendees of the meetings were very impressed with our programs as a club and were complimentary of our business plan. SFBACC appears to be one of the better performing clubs in the country in terms of our programs and our plans for the future. Darrell indicated that he sees no reason why we would not be approved for the loan.
Revised Business Plan
The DI business plan and two accompanying documents were sent out on Monday 3/10/14 to all current members in advance of the member vote that starts this Wednesday and wraps up on Saturday at the member meeting at BJ’s in Newark.
Tour the Hayward Facility Saturday
